4D simulations link the construction programme with the 3D model to produce a simulation of the construction sequence. This visual way of presenting the programme is brilliant for communicating the programme to non-planners. It is also a valuable programme review tool. The project included dredging and land reclamation, a train unloader, 5km 1.8m wide overland conveyor, stockyard serviced by the worlds largest gantry stacker, jetty, wharf and shiploader.
